According to the Public Relations Office of the university: The spiritual ceremony of the recitation of sermons by the servants of the shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (SA) on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year was held with the presence of several officials and new students of the universities in Qom province in the Atiq courtyard of the holy shrine.
In this ceremony attended by Dr. Rezaei Noor, President of the University, several officials and students of Qom University of Technology, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Safar Fallahi, the Cultural Deputy of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA), in his speech regarded enjoining good and forbidding wrong as the highest goals of the uprising of Aba Abdollah Al-Hussein (AS).
He acknowledged prayer as one of the good deeds that Imam Hussein (AS) greatly cherished and said: Aba Abdollah Al-Hussein (AS), who had gone to embrace martyrdom, took the opportunity from the enemy on the night of Ashura to worship God, perform prayer, and recite the Quran for one more night.
Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Fallahi described the worship of God, prayer, and Quran recitation as the most important issues in human development and said: Imam Hussein's (AS) love for prayer was such that at noon on Ashura, he performed the prayer on time and in congregation on the battlefield, so that he could forever remind us of the importance of this issue.
He emphasized the necessity for cultural officials to pay attention to the establishment of prayer in society, stating: The importance of prayer has been evident in the conduct of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Imams (AS), and the great figures of religion, which indicates the significance of this matter.
The Secretary of the Fatimi Ceremonies Headquarters of the Holy Shrine stated that the shrine of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) is a golden opportunity for servitude, worship, and proximity to God, saying: God has stated in Surah Ankabut that if prayer penetrates the soul, spirit, and community, that community will be saved from immorality and filth.
He continued by emphasizing the importance of students' attention to spirituality and religious teachings, stating: The Supreme Leader (may his shadow last) has always urged the scientific community of the country to pay attention to religious teachings and spirituality to become successful and influential individuals in society.
On the sidelines of this ceremony, Dr. Rezaei Noor wishing success for all students, especially the new students of Qom University of Technology, considered the role of students at this time to be very important for the glory of Islamic Iran, adding: Despite all the threats and sanctions, the academic community can shape the advancement of our beloved homeland with its scientific jihad.
He added: It is hoped that with the efforts and determination of professors, staff, and students, we can take a small step towards enhancing the quality of education and research, in order to fulfill our important mission.
