Student Day Ceremony at Qom University of Technology

On Student Day, active scientific, cultural, sports students and the representatives of associations at Qom University of Technology were appreciated and thanked.
According to the university's public relations: The Student Day ceremony was held from 15:00 to 17:00 in the Shahid Akhundi conference hall with the presence of Dr. Akhundi, the caretaker of Qom University of Technology, Hojjatoleslam Valmuslimeen Bonayi, the political and security deputy of the governor, Mr. Mortazai, the development management and human resources deputy of the province, Mr. Alizadeh Tabatabai, the public relations director of the governor's office, and Mr. Abdi, the advisor to the political and security deputy of the governor, along with professors and students.
Initially, Dr. Akhundi congratulated the day and pointed to the crucial responsibilities of students, stating: Each of you students from Iran plays a significant role in the country's progress because you are the students of today and the managers of tomorrow. A true student, aside from studying, researching, and exploring, can elevate the authentic Iranian and Islamic culture with their correct behavior and principles.
Dr. Akhundi stated: A student entering society and the job market from an industrial university must excel in every field. Accordingly, it is expected that, as much as one should delve into achieving scientific goals, they must also be sensitive and aware of religious and political issues.
The caretaker of Qom University of Technology considered the enhancement of knowledge and political awareness as important goals for students and expressed: Due to their creativity and high understanding and analytical power, students can significantly contribute to advancing the sacred goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in international arenas.
Furthermore, Hojjatoleslam Valmuslimeen Bonayi referred to the events of December 7, 1953, and remarked: Mahdi Shari'at-Razavi, Mostafa Bozorgnia, and Ahmad Qandchi, who were groundbreaking students of Iran, showed their love and devotion to Iran, Islam, and the revolution by sacrificing their pure blood.
He added: It is expected that all students of this era, by taking these martyrs as role models, will determine the glory of our country. Especially the students in the holy city of Qom, considering the presence of scholars, should feel a greater sense of responsibility towards their duties and demands.
The political and security deputy of the governor added: Industrial university students are regarded with special attention since they will bring development to the industry of the province. Furthermore, you are responsible to the noble and martyr-loving people of Qom province.
Hosting Jenga competitions, reading statements from associations, and reciting humorous poetry were also among the other programs of Student Day.
In the end, a certificate of appreciation and a gift were presented as a memento to the active scientific, cultural, sports students and representatives of associations at Qom University of Technology.
