According to the Public Relations of the University: The opening ceremony for university students of Qom province entitled (On the Threshold of Mercy) was held at the shrine of Hazrat Fatimah al-Masumeh on Tuesday, 15th Mehr 1393 (7th October 2014) with the presence of Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Salehi Manesh, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Saeedi, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Binaei, and other deputies of the governor at the shrine from 7:30 to 8:15.
In this ceremony, students, professors, and employees from all universities in the province joined the attendants of the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatimah al-Masumeh to recite sermons in the courtyard of Imam Reza (AS).
Ayatollah Saeedi, the custodian of the shrine, congratulated the new students on their arrival in the holy city of Qom and stated: "The blessing of sitting with Hazrat Masumeh (SA) is one of the blessings that should be cherished, and this companionship is for the purpose of acquiring knowledge and starts from the courtyard of this revered lady, heralding a fruitful year of academic and spiritual significance for the students of Qom."
Further, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Salehi Manesh, while extending greetings and respects to the spirits of the Imam and martyrs, appreciated the progress of the youth of Iran in various fields, especially in nuclear technologies. He added: "It is hoped that with the grace of Hazrat Fatimah al-Masumeh (SA) and the efforts of you dear students, our beloved Iran will stand even taller than yesterday, and that the heads of universities and professors will have greater opportunities for serving you dear ones."
It is noteworthy that this ceremony was held at Qom Industrial University with the efforts of the Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader, the Student Affairs Department, and the Cultural Management.
