The text of the message from Dr. Khoshnavisan, the President of Qom Industrial University, on the occasion of the beginning of the year 1397 in the solar calendar is as follows:
In the name of God
May the year 1397, which has been designated by the Supreme Leader (may His exalted presence be blessed) as the Year of Support for Iranian Goods, be honored by all Iranians, particularly the academic community of Qom Industrial University.
I hope that the year 1397, with the determination and efforts of all you dear individuals (professors, staff, and students), will be a year full of ever-increasing advancements for Qom Industrial University. A year in which, through the growth of research and inquiry at the university, we can identify and seek to address the challenges and issues facing industry through closer cooperation with industrialists, thus taking steps, however small, toward the growth and flourishing of production in Islamic Iran. With divine support, may we witness the flourishing of industry and the production of domestic goods, leading to entrepreneurship and reducing dependency on foreign nations. By relying more on our youth, we shall bring progress to the economy of our beloved homeland.
