According to the public relations office of the university: Following the efforts made by the former officials of the university based on letter number 7602/116/ص and the resolution 600/92/46812 dated 92/12/28, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development agreed to allocate a land area of 6000 square meters for the construction of a new university building. With the diligent efforts of Dr. Akhundi, the founder and new caretaker of the university, the unwavering support of Dr. Larijani, the respected President of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Hojjatoleslam Va Muslimeen Salehi Manesh, the Governor of Qom, Hojjatoleslam Va Muslimeen Banaei, the political and security deputy of the province, and other relevant officials, the definitive ownership of the 42-hectare land located on the Qom-Tehran highway after the provincial international exhibition has been dedicated to Qom Industrial University.
Simultaneously, with the beginning of the new academic year on 93/7/4, the sign of Qom Industrial University was installed on the mentioned land in the presence of Dr. Akhundi, the Board of Trustees, and a number of university professors.
Dr. Akhundi, the university caretaker, added in this regard: It is hoped that with the support and efforts of all members of Qom Industrial University, funding from relevant organizations, and also the assistance of benefactors, we will soon begin the initial stages of the construction of the new university building.
