According to the public relations office of the university: On the occasion of March 13th (Martyrs' Day), the staff and faculty of Qom University of Technology renewed their commitment to the lofty ideals of the martyrs of the 8-year Sacred Defense and the martyrs of the Defender of the Shrine.
During this ceremony, the graves of the esteemed martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the martyrs of the Defender of the Shrine, located in the Martyrs' Cemetery and Behesht-e Masoumeh, were honored with flowers and cleaning in the presence of the staff and faculty of Qom University of Technology.
The ritual of cleaning and offering flowers at the graves of the martyrs, aimed at renewing the pledge to Imam Khomeini (RA) and the martyrs with crimson shrouds, was held. Faculty and staff of Qom University of Technology commemorated the memory of the martyrs of the 8-year Sacred Defense and the martyrs of the Defender of the Shrine by reciting Fatiha (the opening chapter of the Quran).
