According to the Public Relations of Qom University of Technology: A seminar on intelligent traffic control in the city of Qom, organized by the Civil Engineering Scientific Association and the Traffic Control Center of the province, was held on Tuesday, January 25, 1394 (April 14, 2015) from 2 PM to 5 PM in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall, with the presence of Colonel Hoseini, the head of traffic police in the province, and Engineer Dehnad, the director of the provincial traffic control center.
In this seminar, Colonel Hoseini emphasized the importance of traffic control in the province, reporting a 33% reduction in fatalities due to accidents in Qom province, along with a 10% increase in pedestrian accidents.
Engineer Dehnad also provided explanations regarding technologies related to traffic control, including the operation of cameras in the city.
At the end, students visited the monitoring room of the Qom provincial traffic control center.
