According to the university's public relations: The fourth seminar of the Faculty of Basic Sciences on the topic of Fixed Points and Applications, featuring Dr. Al-Imran's lecture, was held on Sunday, 93/7/27 from 12:30 to 13:30 with the presence of professors and students in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall at Qom University of Technology.
This seminar addressed the theory of fixed points and their applications in equations, game theory, economics, dynamic systems, etc. It also covered the introduction of fixed points, how to find the roots of an equation, the assurance of the existence of solutions to differential equations, and the application of Banach's theorem in image compression.
Finally, it also discussed the application of Brouwer's theorem to guarantee the existence of a Nash equilibrium point in game theory.
