According to the public relations of the university: The first seminar of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, supervised by Dr. Malatqi, was held on Tuesday, 14/7/93 in the Shahid Akhondi Conference Hall.
In this seminar, Dr. Latifi discussed topics related to Order in Chaos, such as: order in the solar system, chaos in differential equations, the butterfly effect, and standard mapping for periodic orbits, which was well received by the attending professors and students. At the end, three participants in this seminar were awarded gifts as a token of remembrance.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Malatqi, head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, stated that the goal of holding this series of seminars, which includes 15 seminars in various fields of mathematics, physics, and chemistry, is to strengthen the scientific base of students and further promote educational and research activities at Qom University of Technology. He added: According to the established plans, this series of seminars will continue until the end of Azar and the next series of seminars will be conducted with a different approach in Persian and English.
