The specialized seminar on life supporters was held at Qom University of Technology.

According to the Public Relations Office of the university: Concurrent with the week of combating drugs and preventing addiction, a specialized seminar titled "Life Helpers" focused on prevention and intervention in addiction was held with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Zadeh, the Deputy of the Welfare Organization of the province, organized by the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in the university and the Counseling and Health Center in the Shahid Akhund Hall of Qom University of Technology.
In this seminar, Dr. Mohammad Zadeh presented topics under the title "An Overview of Drug Consumption in Iran and the World" and provided statistics on the level of addiction in Iran, comparing it with global figures, as well as discussing the factors affecting youth addiction.
He addressed new promotional methods in drug sales and added: Today, among the younger generation, especially students, the consumption of pills such as Ritalin and Methadone is very common. Students, due to a lack of sufficient awareness, believe that these pills are merely medications that can be used in specific cases, especially during exam times; however, after a few months of use, they will experience side effects that are no longer easily manageable.
Additionally, an exhibition of photographs focusing on the effects of drugs and their consumption tools was another complementary program of this seminar.
