23 Rabi al-Awwal marks the anniversary of the arrival of the Noble Lady of the Ahl al-Bayt, the Intercessor of the Day of Judgment, Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh in the holy city of Qom. The angels have descended from the heavens to bid farewell to the daughter of Musa ibn Ja'far; the sound of the bells of camels breaks the silence of the desert, heralding that the distances are narrowing to place her presence before the eyes of the people of Qom. She is traveling from Medina to Khorasan, hoping to meet her Master, while the ups and downs of the journey continuously arise before her. This seedling of hope keeps her heart’s eye green, providing solace for the sorrow of her brother’s absence. May the anniversary of her arrival in the city of Qom be commemorated.
