The 19th of Dey and the Revolutionary Uprising of the People of the Holy City of Qom

On the occasion of the commemoration of Yawm Allah 19 Dey, Dr. Meshkova Al-Sadat, the esteemed president of the university, Dr. Ghambari, the student affairs vice president, and Engineer Zahidi attended in the midst of thousands of faithful and revolutionary people of the holy city of Qom and met with His Excellency Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his shadow last long).

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his shadow last long) referred to the blessed and decisive consequences of the 19 Dey uprising of the people of Qom as manifestations of the fulfillment of God's truthful promises and emphasized the importance of steadfastness and complete vigilance against the plans, methods, and movements of the enemy, especially regarding the upcoming June elections, outlining important points about the responsibilities of officials, elites, the public, the media, and those intending to run for these elections.
His Excellency Ayatollah Khamenei (may his shadow last long) considered it essential to learn from enduring events such as the 19 Dey uprising and noted: Some considered the victory of the nation over the pompous and arrogant tyrannical regime and the liberation of dear Iran from the humiliating grip of American dominance as impossible, but with God's help, the monarchy in Iran was consigned to the dustbin of history, and the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation stood proud and independent against all adversaries.

The Supreme Leader declared: If all Iranians continue their Islamic path with perseverance as they always have, undoubtedly the course of the history of oppression will change, and the conditions for the emergence of Imam Al-Mahdi (may God hasten his appearance) will be prepared.
His Excellency Ayatollah Khamenei (may his shadow last long) reminded about the collusion of arrogant governments to impose sanctions on Iran and to frustrate the nation, adding: The arrogant powers, unlike the past, explicitly acknowledge that the aim of the sanctions is to exhaust the nation, provoke the people to confront the Islamic Republic, increase pressure on Iranian officials, and consequently change the calculations of those in power.
He added: However, the inclination of the people of this great land toward the principles of Islam and the revolution, as well as the national dignity of Iranians, is increasing day by day, which is precisely the opposite of the enemies' desires.

Additionally, His Excellency Ayatollah Khamenei (may his shadow last long) emphasized at the end of his remarks regarding the upcoming elections: God willing, with God's permission and grace, a good and fervent election will be held in June 1392, so that the enemies' plans will be thwarted as always.
