Establishment of the Energy Engineering Program

The Qom Industrial University, following Sharif University of Technology and Shahid Beheshti University, has successfully obtained permission to enroll students in the Energy Engineering program. Energy Engineering utilizes the principles of basic sciences and engineering to analyze various levels of energy, such as resources, extraction, transmission, processing, conversion, and distribution of energy. The goal of the Energy Engineering bachelor's program is to train efficient engineers to creatively design and implement energy systems in various applications within the industries of manufacturing, transportation, and construction, taking into account environmental and economic considerations. This interdisciplinary program is closely related to bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Physics. In the near future, new energy fields and nuclear energy will be added to the curriculum.
