According to the Public Relations of the University: Dr. Khoshnavisan, President of Qom Industrial University, in a message on the occasion of May 1st (Teacher's Day), honored the memory of the martyr Professor Ayatollah Motahari and expressed gratitude and appreciation for the committed individuals in the field of education, namely professors and teachers.
The text of this message is as follows:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
A teacher is a guardian of trust, and his trust is unlike any other; a human being is his trust. (Imam Khomeini)
May 1st is a day to appreciate those whose mission is akin to that of the prophets. It is clear and evident to all that Islamic Iran, this everlasting land with its ancient civilization, has throughout history been a cradle for great scholars such as Avicenna, Farabi, Fakhr al-Din al-Razi, and others, whose scientific contributions are still recognized by academic circles around the world even after centuries.
Undoubtedly, the success of the youth of this land rests on the tireless efforts of dedicated teachers who have passionately imparted the values of education, nurturing, commitment, and piety to our youth, dedicating their lives to advancing knowledge and creating a prosperous Iran, independent from foreign influence. Truly, the remarkable advancements in nanotechnology, nuclear science, medicine, and industry are owed to the efforts of these dear individuals.
I extend my warmest congratulations to all the diligent workers in the realm of knowledge on this great week commemorating the esteemed position of teachers and professors. I hope, with the grace of Almighty God and under the auspices of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his return), that by following the guidelines of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last), and through the relentless efforts of our professors and teachers, we witness the comprehensive growth and flourishing of science and technology in our beloved Iran.
