The board of directors, faculty, and staff of Qom Industrial University met with the esteemed authority, Ayatollah Malekouti, in his office on Monday, 22 Farvardin 1392.
At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Moshkough Al-Sadat, while thanking the esteemed scholar for accepting the invitation of the academic community of Qom Loyalist Industrial University, provided explanations about the remarkable progress of the university and its future plans.
Continuing, Ayatollah Malekouti stated in his speech: The existence of Qom Industrial University is essential for this holy city because industry is the driving force behind the country's advancement, and it must be embraced. Industry is a knowledge that the Westerners did not teach us. He further added: Our country has witnessed significant advancements in various fields of science and technology since the revolution, but there are greater expectations, and we must conquer the peaks of knowledge.
He expressed that students and universities play a fundamental role in the country's progress and stated: These two can be considered vital factors in the country's growth, and it is necessary for both students and faculty to breathe new life into the nation's advancement.
During this visit, Ayatollah Malekouti remarked: The eleventh presidential election holds special importance, and the people must pay special attention to it. Emphasizing the selection of a compassionate individual for the presidency, he added: We must establish criteria for recognizing the most suitable candidate and choose the next head of government accordingly, ensuring the country is safeguarded from any harm.
At the end, Ayatollah Malekouti offered prayers for the academic community of Qom Loyalist Industrial University and stated: You academics are performing a great service, as serving the people is one of the greatest acts of worship.
