According to the Public Relations Office of the university: coinciding with the Day of Unity between the seminary and the university, on Wednesday, 26th of Aban 1393, the university's Board of Directors, professors, and students of Qom University of Technology, with the efforts of the cultural management, visited the esteemed authority, Ayatollah Javadi Ameli.
After the noon and afternoon prayers led by Ayatollah Javadi Ameli, he commemorated the Day of Unity between the seminary and the university, stating that justice and reason are the two main factors of human life and added: "In some instances, a person knows that this action is a sin, it is disobedience, yet he still carries it out and repeats it; he may even be a professor from the seminary or university. The cause must be investigated. The reason is that the individual's knowledge and actions do not align with each other."
He further explained: "For example, today ISIS has a false power but lacks the correct thought and knowledge which has led it towards a state of ignorant extremism. In Islam, the sword and violence hold no place, but due to a lack of awareness and insight, we witness such behaviors in the world."
Ayatollah Javadi Ameli added: "All of us humans are responsible for one another; especially professors from the seminary and university have a significant duty, as the preservation of society and the protection and guidance of the youth of Iran rests in their hands."
This meeting concluded with his prayer for all those who serve Islam and the revolution, especially the academic community.
