Engineer Mortezaei, Deputy for Management Development and Human Resources of the Governor's Office: The University of Qom is the pride of the province's industry.
According to the Public Relations Office of the University: The University Board of the University of Qom met with Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Banaei, the Political and Security Deputy of the Governor, and Engineer Mortezaei, the Deputy for Management Development and Human Resources of the Governor's Office on Tuesday, July 6, 1393.
In this meeting, Dr. Akhundi, the new head of the University of Qom, presented a report on the current status of the university and stated that investment in the University of Qom, due to the presence of creative and elite students, is a factor in the development of the province's industry. He added: Given the strategic situation of Qom province due to the presence of surrounding industrial parks and proximity to Iran's industrial hub, Salafchegan, the University of Qom requires special attention.
Dr. Akhundi stated regarding the university's land: The follow-ups made to allocate 42 hectares of land in the IT park to the university from 2008 until now have not been fruitful, and the transfer of this land from the Housing and Urban Development of the province has faced challenges. It is hoped that, with the wisdom and support of the province's officials, we will soon witness the resolution of the university's land issue, as the status of the land must be clarified in order to attract budgetary resources for the construction and enhancement of the university's laboratories and workshops.
In this regard, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Banaei emphasized the importance of the University of Qom, adding: We will follow up on this matter in a meeting with the Housing and Urban Development officials of the province and will provide the necessary assistance to further advance this university.
Moreover, Engineer Mortezaei, the Deputy for Management Development and Human Resources of the Governor's Office, regarded the University of Qom as the pride of the province's industry and emphasized: I will support all universities, especially the University of Qom, and will not hesitate in providing assistance. Additionally, for the greater comfort of students, sports equipment such as air rifles and archery kits will be donated to the university by the Governor's Office.
