Yesterday afternoon, a group of faculty members from Qom University of Technology attended a brainstorming session with the Minister of Interior, religious leaders, and elites of the province in the conference hall of the Office of Advertising for the Qom Seminary.
The Minister of Interior regarded the appreciation and support from the government as a form of gratitude towards the nation and emphasized that it is the people who determine the government, which is why they have valid expectations from their officials and statesmen.
He considered the connection between officials and the public in Iran to be one of the unique characteristics of the Islamic Republic and stated that this strength, alongside ethics, beliefs, and commitment to international responsibilities, ultimately elevates the Islamic system among all religious and ideological sects.
He pointed out the necessity of preserving the sanctity of the Guardianship of the Jurist in the Islamic community, saying: Our power and dignity are indebted to the Guardianship of the Jurist; the late Imam, with years of fighting experience and in-depth studies, presented the theory of the Guardianship of the Jurist as the cornerstone of religious governance and guided Iran away from significant threats.
Rahmani Fazli noted that the people hold great significance in the Islamic system, and the Iranian people have repeatedly demonstrated their loyalty to the Guardianship of the Jurist at various stages.
The Minister of Interior spoke about Government Week and the obligation of the government to be accountable to the people, stating: The nation must request their demands through pursuit and advocacy from the statesmen, and the responsibility of the officials is to respond and avoid political maneuvering.
Furthermore, in this ceremony, Hojjatoleslam Wal Muslimeen Salehi Manesh emphasized the importance of utilizing the capacities of religious seminaries and congregational prayers.
The governor of Qom referred to the seminary and university as having a very good standing in the province and noted: The pride of Qom is that the seminary and university are walking in line with the objectives of the holy Islamic Republic and are supportive allies of the government.
