According to the Public Relations Office of the university: Dr. Bahram Khoshnavissan, President of Qom Industrial University, and several university officials met and discussed with Dr. Saghaian Nejad, the mayor of the metropolitan city of Qom.
During this meeting, Dr. Khoshnavissan discussed the university's recent activities. He added: Qom Industrial University has created a very good connection and trust between industry and academia through interactions with local industrialists. In this regard, Qom Industrial University is proud to have solved part of the industrial issues and challenges of the province through its faculty and students.
He emphasized that given the importance of entrepreneurial universities and the government's emphasis on this matter, Qom Industrial University has taken initial steps to facilitate students' entry into the job market during their studies.
Furthermore, Dr. Saghaian Nejad expressed his pleasure at this meeting, stating: Considering the presence of an industrial university in the province, broader interactions should take place between this university and the municipality.
He added: Due to the presence of faculty members in the fields required for urban projects, especially in matters related to urban development, transportation, and traffic, Qom Industrial University can be a very strong supporting force alongside the provincial municipality.
Finally, the mayor of the metropolitan city of Qom expressed his gratitude for the activities of the university officials and announced his comprehensive support for the enhancement of Qom Industrial University.
