Meeting of Dr. Akhundi, the Head of Qom Industrial University, with Commander Mahdavinajad, the Commander of the Ali ibn Abi Talib Corps of Qom Province.

According to the public relations office of the university: This morning, Dr. Akhoundi, the head of Qom University of Technology, and Hojjat Al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen Akhoundzadeh, the representative of the Supreme Leader's office at the university, met and discussed with Brigadier General Mahdavi Nejad, the commander of the Ali Ibn Abi Talib Corps in Qom Province.
During this meeting, Dr. Akhoundi presented a report on the university's political and cultural activities. He considered the universities in the holy city of Qom to be unique due to the presence of the shrine of Fatima al-Masumeh (S), the Jamkaran Mosque, and the presence of scholars and eminent religious authorities, adding that the universities in this province should be particularly strong defenders of the ideals of the Imam, the leadership, and the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Brigadier General Mahdavi also expressed his happiness during this meeting regarding the significant role of the IRGC and Basij during the eight years of Sacred Defense, acknowledging that today's stability in Islamic Iran and the peace currently prevalent in society are due to the blood of martyrs and the bravery of veterans.
It is noteworthy that the parties emphasized utilizing the cultural and educational capacities of Qom University of Technology and the Ali Ibn Abi Talib Corps. Additionally, agreements were made regarding the establishment and activity of the Basij for staff and faculty, strengthening the student Basij at Qom University of Technology, and increasing the quota for participating in the نور (Nour) pilgrimage expeditions.
