The goal of Imam Khomeini (ra) has been solely to keep Islam alive, not to attain power and position.
According to the Public Relations Office of the university: On the occasion of the thirty-fifth anniversary of the glorious Islamic Revolution, the university's leadership, faculty, and staff of the industrial university of Qom visited the esteemed reference, Ayatollah Alavi Gargani, on Tuesday, 92/11/21. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Hadi Moshkouh Al-Sadat, the esteemed president of the university, extended condolences on the passing of Hazrat Masoumeh (s) and commemorated the Day of Allah, 22 Bahman, while providing a brief report on the notable advancements of the university, especially in attracting specialized personnel and implementing the directives of the Supreme Leader (may his blessings be upon him) at the university.
In continuation, Ayatollah Alavi Gargani expressed appreciation and gratitude for the presence of the university's faculty and staff and extended condolences on the martyr-like passing of the noble character of the Ahl al-Bayt, highlighting the significance of these glorious days.
He added: The uprising of Imam Khomeini (ra) was to revive the pure Islam of Muhammad, not to reach power and position. Unity, resistance, and steadfastness of the Iranian people are the sources of blessings in our country. The faith and allegiance of our nation are the pillars of victory against our enemies. Thus, our enemies resort to the assassination of nuclear scientists out of fear.
Ayatollah Alavi Gargani considered the role of our country's universities to be very important. He stated: Our professors must be promoters of knowledge and revolution. That is why our universities cannot be compared to those outside of Iran.
In conclusion, he added: The Muslim nation of Iran is so insightful that there is no need for promotion and invitation to rally on the 22nd of Bahman. Because they will spontaneously create a great epic on this significant day.
