Dr. Rahimi Shaarbaaf: Qom University of Technology has shown good growth in both quantitative and qualitative research indicators.

 Dr. Rahimi Sha'arbaaf, the Deputy Minister of Research and Technology at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, visited Qom University of Technology on 2020/09/18.
 According to the university's public relations report; during this visit, Dr. Rahimi and his accompanying delegation initially toured the workshops, laboratories, and the ongoing construction project of the university's Innovation Center.
Subsequently, Dr. Rahimi attended a meeting with the presence of the university's board of trustees and managers from the research and industry relations sectors. In this meeting, Dr. Rezaei Noor, the university president, provided a report on the university's research activities, highlighting its scientific and research standing in recent years. The report included details on the quantitative strengthening of faculty members, the university's growing trend in publishing scientific articles, patents, and the printing of books and scientific publications.
Continuing the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Research and Technology expressed his satisfaction with the university's advancements over the past years, stating that Qom University of Technology is a young and growing institution. He noted that the quantitative and qualitative indicators in research have shown good growth. He further stated, "Despite the physical limitations of this university, the presence of young professors is a significant advantage, and accordingly, we expect more from the university in terms of article submissions and patent registrations." He added, "To accelerate the qualitative growth of research indicators at the university, the student-to-faculty ratio must be reduced and brought closer to the standard level. Technical disciplines should be strengthened, and collaboration with industry as well as industrial and research contracts should increase and gain more momentum."
