In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(And Our forces will prevail)
And Our army is always dominant (over the enemy). (Surah As-Saffat 173)
The Basij is one of the greatest honors of the Islamic Revolution and the Sacred Defense. The Basij supports the Imam and the leadership at every moment of the glorious history of the Islamic Revolution. The Basij members, responding to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, uphold the sacred ideals of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the martyrs.
The continuation of the Islamic Revolution is not possible without the presence of the Basij and its members. As the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be exalted) states: A youth in the Resistance Basij, who considers themselves a servant of the goals of the Revolution and Islamic ideals, must develop themselves such that they gather butterflies around them like a candle and engage in scientific, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and political construction.
While celebrating the anniversary of the establishment of the Tree of the Basij Mostazafan (Oppressed), and in memory of the Basij martyrs, I would like to extend my congratulations to the loyal and passionate Basij members as well as to the academic community of Qom Industrial University, and I ask Almighty God for the continued success of the servants of the Islamic Revolution.
