With the arrival of the month of Mehr and the beginning of the spring of knowledge and education, a new season of learning and dynamism emerges in our beloved Iran. These days, the excitement and energy of scholars, professors, and active students, who are undoubtedly the true treasures of society, is indescribable.
The university is not merely a place to acquire knowledge. The university is considered a social, cultural, educational, research, and entrepreneurial institution, as well as a hub for thought and intellectual creativity in society. The importance of the university is such that the great leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), stated: The university is the center of happiness and, conversely, the misery of a nation. The fate of a nation should be determined by the university. A good university brings happiness to a nation, while a non-Islamic university holds a nation back.
I would like to sincerely extend my congratulations to the academic community of Qom University of Technology, especially the new students, on the commencement of the academic year and the delightful beginning of classes and university while also honoring the mourning days of Imam Hussein (AS) and the beginning of the Sacred Defense Week. I wish all of you dear ones academic, religious, and ethical growth along with health and welfare from the grace of God Almighty.
