According to the university's public relations report: In the second sports Olympiad for students of universities and higher education institutions in Qom Province, the female students of Qom University of Technology achieved the championship title in both team and individual karate competitions.
This competition, hosted by the University of Medical Sciences and held at the Karate House of the province, saw Shiva Salehi Vaziri from Qom University of Technology win the championship title in the kata section. Additionally, Zahra Azizi and Zahra Davodabadi from Qom University of Technology secured the second and third places, respectively. In the kumite section, Zahra Davodabadi finished third in the -55 kg weight category and claimed the bronze medal.
It is worth mentioning that the karate team of female students from Qom University of Technology collectively achieved 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals in the team section of this competition, leading them to the championship title.
In the boys' section, Mehran Mohammadzadeh from Qom University of Technology secured the third place in the -84 kg weight category of this competition.
