In this meeting, Dr. Rezaei Nour, referring to the available potentials in the holy city of Qom and the industrial university of this province, stated: The holy city of Qom, with the presence of the celestial shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (S) and religious seminaries, has a good potential for attracting non-Iranian students. In this regard, Qom Industrial University can meet their academic needs in the fields of technical sciences and engineering. He announced the university's comprehensive readiness to attract these students, referring to the initial steps towards obtaining the admission license for non-Iranian students.
He requested further assistance from the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology regarding equipping laboratories and workshops at Qom Industrial University, while highlighting the academic advancements of the university, including the construction of the first dual-axis tensile testing machine with numerical control capabilities.
The president of Qom Industrial University, referring to the scientific level of this university and its designation as a partner of Tehran's universities, stated: This year, there has been a significant demand from students for accommodation in student dormitories, which is why two new dormitory complexes have been added to the university to respond to all requests for housing allocation. Since the welfare of students is one of the priorities of the university officials, equipping and completing student dormitories with sports facilities is essential.
In continuation, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Ghorbani Matin, the head of the representative office of the Supreme Leader, referred to the actions taken to establish a foundation for university benefactors and activate the capacity of benefactors for the university's developmental projects.
