The Board of Trustees and several members of the faculty of Qom Industrial University met with Mr. Amir-Abadi Farahani, the representative of the people of Qom and member of the National Budget Program Commission, on Sunday, 7th of Ordibehesht 1393.
In this meeting, Dr. Moshaqeh Al-Sadat, the esteemed president of the university, expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of Mr. Amir-Abadi for the academic community of the province, especially Qom Industrial University, stating: "This university has demonstrated its progress and capabilities in the knowledge-enriching city of Qom over the past two years with eleven undergraduate programs, eight graduate programs, the establishment of 38 laboratories and workshops, and the presence of 50 faculty members."
The president of Qom Industrial University identified strengthening graduate education and establishing new technical and specialized programs, in light of the industrial parks in the province, as among the university's future plans.
Mr. Amir-Abadi Farahani, the representative of the people of Qom, also expressed gratitude for the efforts of the university officials, considering the establishment of an industrial university in the province as one of the necessities, adding: "Given the development of this university and the needs of the province, it should be directed towards graduate education, and the provincial authorities will support this university."
He expressed his satisfaction with the recent achievements of the university and urged officials to expedite the establishment of the campus of this university located in Salafchegan, stating: "Supporting this university means supporting the industry of the province, and I will also provide the necessary assistance."
