According to the Public Relations of the University: Considering the importance of developing the province's industry and the mission of Qom University of Technology to achieve this goal, during a meeting at Qom University of Technology, attended by Dr. Akhundi, the university's caretaker, Engineer Ali Pour, Director General of the Industry, Mining and Trade Office, Dr. Karimi, Director of Research Affairs, and Ms. Dr. Shamsi, Head of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, initial negotiations were held to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Qom University of Technology and the General Office of Industry, Mining, and Trade.
The contents of the mentioned memorandum are as follows:
Establishing a Research Support Fund for the province's industry to conduct research projects aligned with the needs of the province's industry in collaboration with Qom University of Technology, the General Office of Industry, Mining, and Trade, and the Governorate.
Establishing industry-university interaction offices, along with introducing representatives in the mentioned entities to strengthen work relations, cooperation, and further coordination.
Establishing an industrial clinic in the province, centered around Qom University of Technology, in collaboration with several organizations, including the General Office of Industry, Mining, and Trade, Qom Governorate, the General Office of Standards, and other universities in the province.
Involvement and participation of professors from Qom University of Technology in specialized seminars of industrial owners held by the General Office of Industry, Mining, and Trade.
Holding meetings with the esteemed Deputy Governors, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Banai, and Engineer Razavi to optimize the use of the Research Support Fund for the province's industry.
It is hoped that Qom University of Technology, with the efforts of officials, professors, and students, will play its role in the development and growth of the province's industry in the best possible way.
