The presence of Dr. Jafar Khademzadeh Yeganeh, one of the faculty members of Qom University of Technology, in the board of directors of the Iranian Society of Rheology.

According to the public relations of the university: Considering that the field of rheology is one of the new fields in Iran, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, for the first time in Iran, to engage more broadly in this field, elections were held at the first general assembly of the Iranian Rheology Association, where the board of directors of this association was determined.

During the elections held in the conference hall of the Polymer Faculty at Amir Kabir University, Dr. Jafar Khademzadeh Yeganeh, one of the faculty members of the Polymer Group at Qom University of Technology, was elected as a member of the board of directors of the Iranian Rheology Association.

The other elected members of the board of directors of this association include Dr. Gohar Pay and Dr. Nazakdast from Amir Kabir University of Technology, Dr. Kafashian from the University of Tehran, Dr. Ebrahimi from Tarbiat Modares University, Dr. Mehran Pour from Islamic Azad University (Science and Research Unit), Dr. Ramazani (Sharif University of Technology), and Dr. Ghasemi (Research Institute of Polymer and Petrochemical Industry of Iran).
The Iranian Rheology Association, by operating in areas such as polymer industries, paints, chemicals, textiles, food and pharmaceutical industries, oil and gas, petrochemicals, nanotechnology, applied physics, and biotechnology, can take effective steps in advancing the goals of science and technology in Iran.
It is noteworthy that rheology is part of fluid mechanics and continuum mechanics, which is responsible for studying materials that exhibit dual solid and liquid properties.
