According to the public relations office of the university: officials, staff, and students came together to commemorate the days of Muharram in the best possible way, mourning for the Master and Leader of the Martyrs.
Among the programs held by Qom University of Technology in the first ten days of Muharram were the recitation of the revered Ziyarat Ashura and the mourning by the esteemed speaker of the Ahlulbayt, Mr. Zolfi Gol, organized with the support of the cultural management.
Every day after the noon and afternoon prayers, thanks to the office of the Supreme Leader’s representative, a lecture was held featuring Ayatollah Alidoost, a prominent thinker in the humanities, winner of the Global Innovation Award in Humanities in 2016, full professor at the Research Institute of Culture and Islamic Thought, head of the Islamic Iranian Model Progress Institute, member of the Society of Teachers of Qom Seminary, and president of the Fiqh and Law Association of Qom Seminary, and all attendees benefited from the elegy recited by the Ahlulbayt’s speaker, Haj Hossein Koshari.
Additionally, an "Apple Scent" exhibition and a refreshment station were established in the university grounds by the student mobilization organization.
