The introductory meeting of Mr. Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Mahmoud Fakhra-Islam Tabatabai was held at Qom Industrial University.
The introduction ceremony took place in the presence of Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Karami, the esteemed head of the offices of the Representative of the Supreme Leader in the universities of Qom province, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Akhoundzadeh, Provincial Deputy of the Representative of the Supreme Leader, and Mr. Shahbān Banā, the provincial executive director of the Representative of the Supreme Leader, along with the respected board of the university on Wednesday, 3rd of June 2012.
The esteemed head of the Representative of the Supreme Leader in the universities of Qom province, during his remarks, introduced Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Seyyed Mahmoud Fakhra-Islam Tabatabai as the representative of the leadership institution at Qom Industrial University and emphasized the goals of this institution in universities, particularly at the Islamic state-oriented Qom Industrial University.
Subsequently, the head of Qom Industrial University, Dr. Mashkūh al-Sādāt, expressed his satisfaction with the establishment of the office of the Supreme Leader's Representative at Qom Industrial University and appreciated the particular attention of the leadership institution officials in Qom province. In conclusion, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Tabatabai outlined the objectives of this institution in developing and deepening students' Islamic awareness and interests, countering the promotion of deviant thoughts and beliefs, and strengthening self-confidence and independence among students.
