The interactions between Iraqi universities and Qom University of Technology are expanding.

According to the university's public relations report: Distinguished professors from universities in Iraq met with professors from Qom University of Technology, facilitating further interactions between Iraqi universities and this university. In this meeting, which included Dr. Seyyed Zia Razi Kazem Al-Safi, head of the International Foundation of Iraq, and distinguished professors from Iraqi universities such as the Universities of Karbala, Montasariyah, Furat, Ziquar, Imam Sadiq (AS), Qadisiyyah, Wasit, and the Imam Hussein (AS) Faculty, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the President of Qom University of Technology, stated: The two countries, Iran and Iraq, share significant cultural and religious similarities. In addition to the strong political and economic relations between the two countries, what is more important today than ever is the scientific and cultural relations between these neighboring countries. He added: Given the presence of distinguished professors in Iran and the scientific growth of Iran, the potential for scientific cooperation between Iran and Iraq can significantly impact the advancement of both countries. The President of Qom University of Technology stated: This university, having obtained permission to recruit international students from neighboring countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan, has begun to enroll students. It is hoped that this meeting serves as a precursor to greater interactions for Iraqi youth to study at Qom University of Technology. Dr. Rezaei Nour mentioned: Currently, Qom University of Technology ranks among the top 15 industrial universities in Iran. Additionally, in the past two years, we have achieved the first and second ranks in employment across the country, which is a great honor. He noted: Qom University of Technology has facilitated employment opportunities for students during their studies through innovative initiatives, including the "Industry Companion" program, which could also be very beneficial and effective if implemented in Iraq. The President of Qom University of Technology, referring to the approaching months of Muharram and Safar regarding political and cultural interactions, stated: There is no doubt that the great Arbaeen march and the vibrant cooperation between Iranians and Iraqis together to hold mourning ceremonies for the Imams is a sign of the closeness, solidarity, and power of these two countries.
Hojjat-ol-Islam and Muslims Dr. Gorbandi Mobin, head of the Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader at Qom University of Technology, during this meeting explained the influential plans and activities of this office, stating: The office is responsible for religious affairs at the university, complementing the university's educational activities in the cultural and educational domain. According to Quranic teachings, a university succeeds in education and teaching when it earnestly pursues training and purification as well. The head of the Office of the Representative of the Supreme Leader at Qom University of Technology added: A student in an Islamic country who achieves high academic levels should also be spiritually nurtured to serve society and become a successful role model for the people. He also referred to the offering of Islamic knowledge courses, in the form of 14 educational units, as one of the special programs of the office in the realm of religious education, which is very effective for familiarizing students from various fields with the interpretation of the Quran, beliefs, ethics, and other teachings of Islam. Hojjat-ol-Islam and Muslims Dr. Gorbandi Mobin further added: Thanks to God, at Qom University of Technology, through effective religious and spiritual programs, we have witnessed very good moral, educational, and epistemological results. We hope that, through the collaboration of universities in Iran and Iraq in cultural and educational fields, we will witness the emergence of distinguished scholars whose blessings will reach the Islamic world.
