According to the public relations office of the university: The ceremony for the farewell and funeral of the anonymous martyr of the eight years of sacred defense was held with the presence of all students, professors, and staff of Qom University of Technology. At this ceremony, attendees carried placards stating "The Islamic Republic is our red line," "Students are awake," "Students, universities are free from the turmoil," etc., while paying tribute to the lofty status of the Imam and the revered martyrs, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the sacred Islamic Republic until the last breath. Dr. Rezai Noor, President of Qom University of Technology, expressed gratitude for the efforts of the student mobilization and relevant university officials to hold the funeral ceremony for this esteemed martyr with grandeur, stating: "The noble and respectable nation of Iran has always countered the conspiracies and plots of foreign and internal enemies with insight, awareness, and attentive listening to the directives of the Supreme Leader." He added: "The university youth, through the pursuit of knowledge, self-actualization, self-belief, and commitment to Islamic principles, contributes to the dignity of our dear Iran. These are the distinguishing features of the elite and revolutionary youth that enemies feel threatened by and wish to target universities." Referring to the month of Mehr and the beginning of the academic year, he said: "We take the presence of this esteemed martyr at the start of the new academic year in the campus of the principled Qom University as a good omen, hoping to have a year filled with blessings and prosperity, looking favorably upon this eternal martyr." The Islamic cleric Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader at the university, stated: "According to the noble verse of the Quran, martyrs are alive and dwell in the presence of Allah; hence, the presence of the sacred remains and artifacts of martyrs in society is vital and eliminates the darkness of turmoil and satanic whispers."He noted: "The memory of the martyrs stirs the blood of every Iranian, irrespective of political thoughts, preventing negative emotions and sentiments. Consequently, the elders, particularly the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last long), emphasize the preservation and revival of the martyrs' legacy and the sacred defense."The Islamic cleric Dr. Ghorbani Mobin added: "The academic community is the source of transformations and, more than other societal groups, in need of spiritual force. Thus, in this critical time, the presence of martyrs in universities can be invigorating. I hope that by remembering and reviving values, we can fulfill our duties towards the martyrs and the Islamic community correctly." The mourning of Karbala'i Javad Barzegar and the storytelling by Brigadier General Ebrahimpour were other parts of this spiritual ceremony.
