According to the Public Relations Office of the university, the first meeting of the executive committee for recruiting faculty members at Qom University of Technology took place on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, for a duration of 2 hours using the university's electronic system. This is the first executive recruitment meeting held at the level of universities in the country, which was conducted virtually after coordination with the Secretary of the Faculty Recruitment Center of the Ministry of Science, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Rezvan Talab. Qom University of Technology is proud to take the lead in this area as well.
In this meeting, which was attended by Dr. Ali Khaki Sadiq, the Deputy Minister of Education of the Ministry of Science, and Dr. Hassan Khaleqi, a former deputy minister of education, the university president, the representative of the Supreme Leader, and other members of the university's executive recruitment committee, discussions and exchanges of views were held regarding various topics such as the files of applicants for contractual recruitment, applicants for the transition from contractual to probationary official status and permanent official status, the program duration for recruiting faculty members until 2025, and the selection of members for the scientific capability evaluation working group for the applicants. Consolidated points were submitted for approval by the members.
It is worth mentioning that the electronic service desk of Qom University of Technology was inaugurated last summer in the presence of the governor of Qom, and currently, the university provides all its services online to stakeholders.
