In the challenging path towards the realization of the Islamic Revolution, the noble and martyr-cherishing people of the city of knowledge and jurisprudence fulfilled their sacred duty with love for Islam and leadership during that critical time. The day of December 19 marked a golden page in the history of the holy city of Qom, exemplifying the blessed verse (إنا فتحنا لك فتحاً مبیناً). It was a day when men and women, old and young moved towards the sacred shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (s), clenching their fists in fulfillment of their historical mission.
Indeed, December 19 was a turning point that ignited the torch of the revolution and brought victory against tyranny. Therefore, in these days when the enemies of Islam seek to harm Iran and Iranians through threats and sedition and to hinder the ever-increasing progress of our youth, it is imperative for every honorable Iranian, especially the fighting people of the sacred city of Qom, to stand firm as a solid fortress against any kind of enemy infiltration with insight and awareness.
We, the academic community of Qom Industrial University, hope to keep the memory and legacy of all martyrs, especially the martyrs of December 19, alive forever by obeying the Velayat-e Faqih, turning towards and adhering to Islam and the Quran, and safeguarding the dignity and greatness of Islamic Iran and the ideals of our beloved revolution.
