According to the public relations of the university: Qom Industrial University issued a statement in commemoration of November 4th, the day the U.S. embassy was taken over by the students following the line of Imam Khomeini.

November 4th is a symbol of revolution featuring a new generation and a wise and capable leader whose name, memory, and method have become immortalized in history. It reminds us of the great epic of men and women who have embraced the eternal struggle against arrogance and tyranny, standing firm against betrayal of the homeland and the worship of foreigners, even at the cost of their lives.
The epic of November 4th shattered the power of tyrannical governments. For the students following the line of Imam Khomeini, November 4th symbolizes nothing but unity of words, strife against oppression, and absolute loyalty to the leader of the time, namely the Great Khomeini. Undoubtedly, the unity of our youth yesterday has shaped our pride today in both Eastern and Western societies.
November 4th taught the world that with the unity and empathy of a nation, it is possible to consign plunderers and oppressors to the dustbin of history and to stand firm against all the enemy's conspiracies with self-belief and reliance on the boundless power of God.
We, the academic community of Qom Industrial University, by honoring this great day, announce to the world that the third generation of the revolution, namely the children of those who created that monumental epic yesterday, will remain committed to the ideals of Imam and the martyrs until their last breath, following the directives of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be everlasting). We will not relent in our struggle against arrogance and for our independence, and we hope to deliver the sacred banner of the Islamic Republic of Iran to its rightful owner, His Eminence, the Awaited Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), and to continue our comprehensive struggle against injustice and oppressors around the world under his global governance.
