The elevated and celestial spirit of Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani has joined the Supreme Realm
The passing of this divine scholar, a master of ethics and knowledge, a perceptive jurist, and a lifelong supporter of the Imam and leadership has brought sorrow and mourning to the Iranian people. This is because the Islamic Revolution is in mourning for one of the greatest fighters for truth against falsehood. A great man who, alongside Imam Khomeini (RA), withstood torture and threats from the tyrannical regime, bestowed independence, freedom, and the Islamic Republic upon Iran and its people. A distinguished scholar who, in every corner of the sacred system of the Republic, including membership in the Guardian Council, the Assembly of Experts, the Revolution Council, and the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, has demonstrated his devotion to the Imam and the martyrs through his brilliant performance. Furthermore, Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani played a significant role in the religious and ethical development of the youth of this land by educating students in the Semnan Islamic seminary and Imam Sadiq University (AS).
