According to the public relations of Qom University of Technology, the largest geotechnical conference in Iran was held as part of the second national conference on soil mechanics and foundation engineering, hosted by Qom University of Technology on Wednesday and Thursday, 22 and 94/7/23, at the Mahran Complex, with the attendance of researchers and professors from universities across Iran, including Professor Hafez from Shiraz University and Dr. Ghoulzadeh from the University of Tehran.
Dr. Khoshnevissan, the president of Qom University of Technology and the conference chair, reported that over a thousand articles were submitted from across the country and even from outside Iran to participate in this conference, with six hundred and fifty articles accepted by the conference reviewers. He also expressed hope that, with the presence of experienced faculty and creative students, the university will engage in significant research activities.
It is noteworthy that oral presentations of articles and poster sessions were part of this conference, along with the formation of four specialized workshops. Additionally, during the closing ceremony, the top articles were honored according to the judges' criteria.
