According to the public relations office of the university, a memorial ceremony was held today at noon on the occasion of June 4, the anniversary of the passing of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini (ra), with a speech by Hojjatoleslam val Moslemeen Dr. Ghobani Mobein in the university prayer hall.
In this ceremony, which was attended by a group of faculty members and staff, Hojjatoleslam val Moslemeen Dr. Ghobani, the head of the leadership institution at the university, referred to the moral qualities of Imam Khomeini (ra) and regarded his ascetic life as a perfect model in all aspects for the people, especially for officials and those in power.
He further added that introducing the personality of the Imam would lead to the social and ethical growth of the people.
Dr. Ghobani Mobein concluded this ceremony by calling for sincerity in actions, adding that Imam, may Allah be pleased with him, was only for God and feared no one. God granted him honor and respect; he lived well and passed away rightly. God willing, may we also benefit from his intercession on the Day of Judgment.
