According to the public relations office of the university, coinciding with the beginning of the new academic year and the presence of new students at Qom University of Technology, the university's board of directors visited the Al-Zahra dormitory for female students to closely examine the concerns and demands of dormitory students. During this visit, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, congratulated the students on the start of the new academic year and announced that initial steps have been taken towards the construction of the university's first student dormitory. He added that in 2022, land near the university was allocated for the construction of a student dormitory, and preliminary actions for its construction have been implemented. Furthermore, students expressed their satisfaction with the quality of food and the availability of transportation facilities to transfer students to the dormitory and university, articulating their issues, concerns, and demands regarding educational matters, student dormitories, etc. Additionally, the proposal for holding extra-curricular training courses needed by the students was raised.
Dr. Rezaei Nour also promised comprehensive support to alleviate the students' concerns and provide them with peace of mind, stating: "All university officials are making every effort to provide educational, research, cultural, and welfare services to the students of Qom University of Technology in the best possible manner."
