According to the university's public relations: Dr. Pourkiani, the Director General of Physical Education at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, visited Qom Industrial University on Sunday, 93/10/21.
During his visit to the university's Physical Education Department and the Workers' Sports Hall, which is leased to Qom Industrial University, Dr. Pourkiani was informed about the activities conducted in the past six months.
In a meeting attended by Dr. Akhoundi, the university's caretaker, Dr. Pourkiani, and Dr. Karimi, the student affairs vice president, it was decided to establish a Sports Council at the university to devise strategic plans for sports and increase student engagement in this area, given the lack of sports facilities and budget allocated for sports. Additionally, the implementation of construction projects, including an artificial turf field on the university campus, is among the future plans to develop sports at this university.
At the end of his visit, Dr. Pourkiani expressed his satisfaction and added: With further collaboration and support from the officials of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, as well as the officials of Qom Industrial University, the sports activities and programs at Qom Industrial University will be enhanced with a greater budget allocation next year.
