(Active Participation of Students from Qom University of Technology in the Third National Exhibition of Aerospace Capabilities of Iran)
With the efforts of the dedicated students, Qom University of Technology was able to participate for the first time in the Third National Exhibition of Aerospace Capabilities of Iran from October 11 to 13, 2012, at the Air Show Center.
At the Qom University of Technology booth, students held scientific advisory sessions for visiting students and schoolchildren, conducted a workshop on building hand-launch airplanes, and presented research achievements such as a vertical takeoff aircraft and a drone.
It is worth noting that on the opening day of the exhibition, Hojjatoleslam Valmuslemin Mohammad Hassan Abutalebi, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, and Mr. Manouchehr Manteqi, the respected head of the Aerospace Union, visited this booth.
According to the university's public relations department, the activities of the students at this booth attracted significant attention from the head of the Elites Foundation of the Ministry of Defense, the managers of the Aerospace Union, the CEO of private companies such as Behnam Gostar Aircraft Manufacturing, as well as the students from the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering departments of Amir Kabir University, Khajeh Nasir Toosi University, and Sharif University of Technology.
