According to the public relations of the university: Dr. Mansour Gholami, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, has appointed Dr. Jalal Rezaei Noor as the "Acting Head of Qom University of Technology" through an official decree.
In this appointment letter addressed to Dr. Rezaei Noor, it is stated:
Given your commitment, expertise, and experiences, you are hereby appointed as the "Acting Head of Qom University of Technology".
It is expected that you will utilize the experiences of all faculty members at the university and leverage all available resources, as well as the support of benefactors in higher education, to carry out the responsibilities of leading the university based on the laws, policies, and programs submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, along with the designated missions for the university.
It is hoped that by adhering to the ethical charter of the government of prudence and hope in preserving public assets and applying effective cost-saving policies, avoiding extravagance, strengthening order and administrative discipline, and strictly adhering to financial regulations, as well as enhancing the academic, cultural, and social aspects of the university, you will exert your utmost effort and diligence.
Dr. Jalal Rezaei Noor, an associate professor in the Industrial Engineering department at Qom University, obtained his PhD in Industrial Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology and has pursued academic activities as part of his doctoral dissertation at Monash University in Australia.
He served as the director of the Information Technology Center at Qom University from 2013 to 2018, during which he also acted as the managing editor and a member of the editorial board of two academic journals: Engineering Management and Software Computing.
Among Dr. Rezaei Noor's academic and executive backgrounds are membership in the National Elite Foundation, head of the Industrial Engineering department, membership in the specialized commission of the Faculty of Engineering, membership in the future studies group at the Environmental Research Institute of the university, membership in the steering team for maintenance and repairs at the university, membership in the university council, and participation in the service desk establishment team at Qom University.
He has over 15 years of executive experience at various levels, from technical roles to management in both public and private organizations, while also teaching and researching in the fields of reengineering, organizational process management, management principles and organizational theory, organizational architecture, and organizational knowledge management.
Dr. Rezaei Noor has been recognized as a top researcher at Qom University from 2013 to 2016, as the best department head in 2015, as the top researcher in Qom Province in 2016, and as an exemplary professor at Qom University in 2017.
His academic achievements include publishing over 70 scientific-research articles in reputable international and domestic journals, supervising and advising more than 50 doctoral dissertations and master's theses, presenting over 60 papers at international and national conferences, and authoring and translating 8 specialized books.
The Minister of Science also expressed gratitude in a separate letter for the services of Dr. Bahram Khosh Nevisan, the former president of Qom University of Technology, during his tenure.
