According to the public relations office of the university: A meeting was held on Thursday, 93/10/11 at Qom Industrial University, attended by Hojjatoleslam Va Moslemin Dr. Banaei, the political and security deputy governor, Dr. Motiei, head of the Student Welfare Fund, Engineer Razavi, the deputy of provincial planning, Dr. Esmaili, the provincial pilgrims’ deputy, Dr. Delavari, the provincial inspections deputy, Mr. Beheshti, head of housing and urban development, and Engineer Talayi, head of the Agricultural Jihad Organization.
The meeting aimed to familiarize provincial officials with the administrative, financial, and legal challenges faced by Qom Industrial University. Dr. Akhundi, the university's caretaker, provided a report on the status of Qom Industrial University. Additionally, discussions took place regarding the latest developments concerning the university's land allocation, challenges in attracting faculty members, and the university's budget deficits in previous years and the current year.
Regarding the university land, Engineer Razavi, the deputy of provincial planning, and Engineer Talayi, the head of the Agricultural Jihad Organization, announced that the acquisition of the university land, located at kilometer 10 of the province, between the printing and publishing town and the Alborz road, has been finalized and is available for allocation.
Dr. Motiei, the head of the Welfare Fund, also emphasized that, considering the acquisition of land for the construction of the new university building, decisions regarding major university policies should be made with great precision, as Qom Industrial University is developing. The foundations you set for this university will affect its future, and current decisions and policies will shape the university's trajectory.
Furthermore, to resolve the legal issues concerning faculty recruitment for each major, it was agreed to hold joint meetings with the provincial inspection organization to identify legal solutions.
Hojjatoleslam Va Moslemin Banaei, while expressing gratitude towards Dr. Akhundi, stated: Qom Industrial University has truly been neglected in the province. It is hoped that this meeting will mark the beginning of greater attention to this university, and with the support of the provincial governor's office and all relevant executive agencies, we will witness further progress for this university.
