The First Graduation Ceremony of Students from Qom University of Technology

(The four-year efforts of the academic community of Qom University of Applied Science have come to fruition)

According to the university's public relations: The first graduation ceremony for students of Qom Industrial University was held on Thursday, 1st of Esfand 1392 (according to the Persian calendar) in the university's amphitheater, facilitated by the cultural and social management with the presence of Hojjatoleslam and Muslim Mr. Benaei, the political and security deputy of the governor.

At the beginning of this ceremony, Dr. Mashkough Al-Sadat presented a brief report on the university's performance over the past four years. He highlighted the acceptance of students in eleven undergraduate majors (Industrial, Computer (Hardware, Software), Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Electrical (Control, Power, Telecommunications), Polymer Engineering, and Energy Engineering) as well as four master's programs (Civil Engineering with a focus on Soil and Foundation, Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control and Power, and Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Applied Design), the presence of 49 faculty members, and the establishment of 34 laboratories and workshops within this limited physical space, reflecting the cooperation and solidarity of each member of the academic community of Qom Industrial University.

Dr. Mashkough Al-Sadat, while expressing gratitude for Hojjatoleslam and Muslim Benaei's presence, also thanked the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, the governor's office, certain provincial officials, and the representative of the esteemed mayor for their comprehensive cooperation with the university, stating that the construction of the new university building will also resolve the issue of limited physical space.

Continuing, Hojjatoleslam and Muslim Benaei, the representative of the people of Qom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the political and security advisor to the governor, expressed their satisfaction with the development of Qom Industrial University and added: The establishment of an industrial university in Qom province has been very necessary because this university can significantly impact the growth and prosperity of the province's industry by training specialized manpower.

He expressed his gratitude to the parents of the students, stating: We hope that non-local students will leave with fond memories of the holy city of Qom. He also noted a saying from Imam Jafar Sadiq (PBUH), which states: Knowledge was established in the city of Kufa and then will reach the city of Qom; this city will become a source of virtue and knowledge, and its people will represent the vicegerent of God on Earth.

Hojjatoleslam and Muslim Benaei regarded the holy city of Qom as a center of knowledge and added: Qom will be able to conquer scientific platforms. In this magnificent ceremony, it is appropriate to recognize Dr. Khaliqi, Dr. Larijani, and Dr. Akhoondi, who have played a significant role in the founding and establishment of Qom Industrial University.

The ceremony concluded at 1:00 PM with live music, competitions, the awarding of trophies, and the recitation of the oath.
