Selection of Qom University of Technology as the first testing area for the seventh National Nanotechnology Competition in the province.

According to the Public Relations Office of the university: With the support and collaboration of Qom University of Technology and the Nano Technology Promotion Working Group, this university  has been selected as the first testing site for the seventh National Nano Technology Competition in Qom province.
According to the announcement from the secretariat of the National Nano Competition, areas with a high number of participants and where one of the active promotional organizations provides the necessary conditions for holding the test, such as location and executive staff, will be chosen as the testing centers for the seventh National Nano Technology Competition.

It is noteworthy that each province will have at least one testing site, and applicants must select the city and province of their proposed testing site during registration. The exact locations of the testing sites will be announced based on the competition schedule in the first half of Ordibehesht 1396 (May 2017).

It is worth mentioning that the seventh National Nano Technology Competition will be held in one stage and in a theoretical format on 22 Ordibehesht 1396 (May 22, 2017), and interested individuals have until 28 Esfand 1396 (March 19, 2017) to register for this competition.

Additionally, this competition will include several descriptive questions to assess the educational competency of the applicants, in addition to multiple-choice questions, so that applicants can respond to them to receive a certificate of teaching competency in nano technology. The awarding of the teaching competency certificate is contingent upon achieving a scientific threshold in the multiple-choice test and an educational threshold in the descriptive questions.

In this competition, 90 percent of the participants' scores will be derived from the in-person multiple-choice test, and the remaining 10 percent will be based on the average percentage achieved by the participant in two comprehensive tests on the special training website for the seventh National Nano Technology Competition.
