According to the public relations office of Qom University of Technology: The ceremony to honor the top researchers of Qom University of Technology was held simultaneously with Research Week on Tuesday, 24/9/93, with the presence of Dr. Akhoundi, the Acting President of the University, faculty members, staff, and students in the Shahid Akhoundi Conference Hall.
In this ceremony, Dr. Akhoundi, while expressing gratitude for the activities of students and faculty, announced the construction of the Faculty of Engineering and the administrative site of the university by the year 95 on the main campus of the university.
He added: Among the university's future plans are the admission of more students in the graduate level, qualitative development of education and research, and the upgrading of the employment contracts for faculty members and staff. He stated: I am fully aware that by providing welfare facilities to faculty and staff, productivity and efficiency will increase. Additionally, with the plans in place, we will provide welfare services, research opportunities, and support for faculty in authoring and translating books.
Dr. Khoshnavisan, the Vice President for Education and Research at the university, pointed to the importance of research at Qom University of Technology and added: We are seeking, as much as possible, to equip the laboratories in collaboration with the Strategic Vice Presidency of the President's Office to create a suitable environment for conducting the research projects of faculty members.
Following this, Dr. Ghanbari, the Acting Head of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Dehghan, the Acting Head of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Dr. Malatqi, the Acting Head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, raised topics regarding research, the activities carried out, and future plans in each of the faculties.
