According to the Public Relations of Qom University, coinciding with Research Week, a ceremony was held to honor the top researchers and technologists of Qom Industrial University, attended by the President of Qom University and the University’s Board of Trustees. In this ceremony, Dr. Rezaei Nour, President of Qom Industrial University, expressed his condolences on the occasion of the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra and commemorated the Day of Seminaries and Universities. He stated: "The day of unity between seminaries and universities was a gift from Imam Khomeini (RA) to the seminaries and university scholars. To advance the goals of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and to neutralize the enemies' conspiracies against students and seminary scholars, seminaries and universities, clergymen and professors must stand together to preserve Islamic values, enabling us to present devout and committed engineers, managers, and officials to society." He added: "The Supreme Leader has placed special importance on research in his second step of the revolution statement for this great jihad for the great Islamic Iran. Of course, in recent years, our beloved Iran has achieved remarkable scientific breakthroughs." Dr. Rezaei Nour, referring to the industrialization of Qom province, said: "The development and increased activity of Qom Industrial University is vital to support the province's industry. Moreover, through the Industry Partnership plan, which is an innovative initiative of Qom Industrial University, the missing link between industry and university has been re-evaluated. The presence of students and professors from Qom Industrial University in factories, such as Pakshoma Industrial Company, alongside resolving industrial issues in the province and achieving the first and ninth ranks in the employment of graduates at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, demonstrate that Qom Industrial University is committed to its obligations." Furthermore, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Ghobani Mobin, Head of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader at Qom Industrial University, appreciated the efforts of all those in the educational and research departments of the university. He emphasized that the most significant feature of Qom Industrial University is the presence of young, motivated, and revolutionary leadership, faculty, and staff, adding: "The presence of these individuals in this university has shaped a bright future for Qom Industrial University. Therefore, provincial and national officials should provide more support to this university to help it find its rightful place." He added: "Today, despite sanctions and the adversities posed by enemies, research is the solution to the problems faced by the people. Consequently, officials must also pay special attention to research and ensure that research is not only an issue during this week." Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Ghobani Mobin remarked: "The enemy has cleverly commenced its soft war; hence, we too must act more judiciously. America resorts to the greatest researchers for policy, culture, science, and so forth. We are at a stage where we cannot afford trial and error. Many solutions to problems lie within universities and are in the hands of professors and students." Following this, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Sharifi stated: "Qom is a world city and has an international dimension. Thus, institutions, universities, and the people of this city must also showcase their rich culture on the international stage. It does not matter if our universities are seminary-based, religious, industrial, or medical; in any case, we must plan and envision our goals on the international frontier." He explained: "According to the second step statement of the revolution, individualization, community building, and civilization building are crucial concepts, but within this context, the student is even more significant, as they can singularly contribute to community and civilization building." Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Sharifi noted the recent advancements at Qom Industrial University and asserted: "We all must fully support Qom Industrial University, as the province's industrial growth is intertwined with the growth of this university.
