Top Researchers from Qom University of Technology Honored

According to the public relations office of the university: Concurrent with Research Week, during a ceremony attended by the university president, Dr. Malekzadegan, top entrepreneurs of the province, professors, and students, the top researchers of Qom Industrial University were honored in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall.
In this conference, Dr. Khushnavisan emphasized the importance of research in Iran and added: Thanks to God, the research situation at Qom Industrial University has improved, but there is still a long way to go to reach an ideal state.
The president of Qom Industrial University stated: Students should demand academic and research advancements from us. Following the efforts made, three new laboratory spaces have been prepared for the establishment of necessary laboratories, and the necessary equipment has also been purchased. As soon as the equipment is received, these laboratories will be launched.
Dr. Khushnavisan highlighted the industrial nature of the university and noted: Our university must address the challenges of the province's industry, and we are responsible in this regard. We should also engage in healthy competition with other industrial universities, and indeed, until today, good results have been evident; for example, last year and this year, the top researcher of the province was chosen from Qom Industrial University.
Furthermore, Dr. Fadaei, the educational and research deputy of the university, referenced the research activities being carried out at the university. He added: Improvements in research infrastructure, the preparation and approval of the operational guidelines for special research funds (grants), the establishment of an innovation center at the university, the membership of university laboratories in the Shaada system (Iran's Scientific Laboratories Network), the launch of the digital library of Qom Industrial University, increasing the university's internet bandwidth to 32 megabits, the membership of the university's central library in the Ghadir plan, the selection of Qom Industrial University as the secretariat of the provincial nanotechnology headquarters, the hosting of the second national conference on soil mechanics and foundation engineering, and the hosting of the first conference on mathematical physics in Iran are among the university's research programs.
Dr. Rajabi, the director of industrial relations at the university, also discussed the activities carried out in this unit. He introduced the entrepreneurship and industrial relations office and identified the signing of over ten memorandums of understanding with provincial departments as one of the noteworthy programs of this unit.
The industrial relations director further stated: Trust between industry and university has been established, and the province's industry has shared its research priorities and industrial challenges for further collaboration with the university over the past two years. Additionally, the university's industrial clinic has recently been launched in the Shokouhieh Industrial Park, which will strengthen the university-industry connection.
Dr. Malekzadegan, a top entrepreneur in the province, also shared insights from the spark of an idea to the creation of a product.
At the end, outstanding researchers of the university were honored with award plaques and prizes as a token of appreciation.
