According to the public relations office of the university: Officials from the provincial standards administration met with Dr. Khoshnavisan, the president of Qom University of Technology, and a group of faculty members to establish mutual interactions between the university and the standards administration.
In this meeting, the officials from the standards administration requested to hold joint sessions to utilize the potential of the faculty members of Qom University of Technology. Initial negotiations regarding the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Qom University of Technology and the provincial standards administration were also conducted.
The purpose of signing this memorandum is to involve faculty members of Qom University of Technology in standard drafting sessions, to form a joint committee of officials from the university and the standards administration for the implementation of national and international standards in the province's industry, to conduct standard training courses with the attendance of faculty members from Qom University of Technology, as well as to hold joint conferences, etc.
In this meeting, Dr. Rasti, the director of industry relations at Qom University of Technology, announced that 10 cooperation agreements have been signed between this university and various governmental organizations in the province, including the Engineering System Organization, the Industries and Mines Organization, the Electricity Department, and the City Development Company, among others.
He added: "Qom University of Technology, considering the presence of experienced faculty and laboratory facilities in materials testing, polymers, and soil mechanics, can engage in significant collaborations with the standards administration."
It is worth noting that these sessions will continue as per the agreement between the parties.
